Travel to Berlin

Berlin has two international airports (Berlin-Tegel and Berlin-Schönefeld). Both are well connected to the city. So book your flight only to “Berlin”. Your airline will guide you.

From Airport Berlin Tegel by public transport to the Estrel Hotel (commuting time approx. 1 h.)
Take the bus line TXL, (direction Mollstr./Prenzlauer Allee) till Berlin Central Station (“Hauptbahnhof”), there you switch to bus M41 (direction: Sonnenallee/Baumschulenstrasse) till stop  Ziegrastrasse. (It’s a 5 min. walk to the hotel; on left side of Ziegrastr. you can see the hotel complex.)

From Airport Berlin Schönefeld by public transport to the Estrel Hotel (commuting time approx. 40 min.):
From the Airport Berlin-Schönefeld Terminal take bus 171 (direction: Hermannplatz) till station Sonnenallee. Exit the train station and follow Sonnenallee across the river. You will find the Hotel on your left side.

From many European neighbour countries you can travel to Berlin also by Fast Speed Train (IC/Intercity) and High Speed Train (ICE/Intercity Express). If you do so, book your ticket to Berlin Central Station (“Hauptbahnhof”). From there you reach your hotel by Bus M41 till stop Ziegrastrasse. (It’s a 5 min. walk to the hotel; on left side of Ziegrastr. you can see the hotel complex.)
